Life Stage Transistion

Assist-Life Stage, Transition

The development of daily living and life skills focuses on the training and development activities carried out by the participant or their caregiver to increase their capacity to live as independently as possible. These activities may include supports that will improve the participant’s ability to travel, use public transportation on their own, practise and maintain personal hygiene on a regular basis, among other things. The capacity for adaptable and constructive behaviour known as “life skills” enables people to successfully navigate the demands and difficulties of daily life.
You will work with Starlight Care & Support Services on daily tasks and life skills. We are aware of your objectives and collaborate with you, your family, or caregivers to set up supports for the improvement of daily abilities, with an emphasis on boosting self-assurance and independence. AAAR Ability Assist will assist you in achieving your objective if you have a certain skill you want to develop. We also help you develop your capacity for independent life and communication. We offer services to help you and your families or caregivers deal with all the issues you experience on a daily basis and put methods in place that will improve your ability to deal with these issues.
Life Stage Transitions
We offer training that can involve daily living skills, communication and social skills, problem-solving, and managing the funding of services, either individually or through group activities. We provide a wide range of training and development programmes aimed at increasing participants’ capacity to manage daily life by developing their knowledge, skills, and support networks. This helps participants deal with the obstacles of everyday living. Depending on your needs, we can offer training and development in a variety of life skills, including personal hygiene, using the restroom, personal care, cooking a healthy meal, keeping the house clean, doing laundry, communicating with service providers and support networks, travelling, using public transportation, and many others.
