Personal Activities

It includes assistance with daily tasks that let you live as independently as possible at home and in the community. You might be able to obtain the following support kinds through your NDIS Plan’s Assistance with Daily Life: assistance with routine daily tasks. Help with domestic duties. Aid with daily personal activities, such as assistance with or supervision of daily personal responsibilities, is referred to as personal care support.
For instance:
  • Showering, bathing, brushing one’s teeth, clothing, and grooming are all examples of
  • personal hygiene.
  • Menstrual care, bladder and bowel control, and toileting.
  • drinking and eating.
  • attending meetings.
  • use of assistive technology, including hearing and communication aids.
  • moving around and transferring, such as getting on and off the toilet and getting into and out of bed; or
  • applying splints to injuries caused by a participant’s impairment, and providing basic first aid.
